I apologize for the delay in posting and say a sincere thanks for those of you that give us a snippet of time each week to see what we are doing.
This past week has been a very difficult one for my Darling.
Now after several days in the ICU, we have graduated to a shall we say a “regular “ room in the hospital.

We have had so many wonderful friends and family putting their love into action for us over and over. They have been here with
with us to just sit and talk, bring a card or well wishes- and even running out to pickup a taco because I had not gotten to eat... We are truly blessed.
We are in process of choosing a path that will lead to complete health for him so we may resume our life we love so much.....

We are planning even now to resume our country jaunts, in which we meander slowly and stop just because it holds our interest. An opportunity waiting to unearth something of value from the past that we love and can possibly share with you.
We love our time together, making memories and sharing special times. Tuesday is an opportunity to make it very special and I have my work cut out for me this year ! I will find a way to show my Darling just how special he is even if it’s not quite the way ( OR PLACE ) we had planned.
You think the nurses will mind all the glitter, glue and paper ?
Have fun making your Valentine something straight from your heart, have a Happy Heart all weekend & please keep us in your prayers.
We are sending special love your way today...

That is THE most lovely thing I had ever seen. The path may be unsure at this point, but we will be strong & we sure appreciate all your comments. Thank
DeleteYou so much.
Diana, I know first hand how health issues can be "game changers", but just know God is there with you every step of the way. He's faithful and true...xoxo Debra
ReplyDeleteDebra,
DeleteIt is such a comfort to know that you all are such encouragers... God has already been working here- such wonderful, unbelievable nurses. I will post more later on some of the ones that really stand out. They are a tribute to their profession.
Thanks- Diana
